Rental Policies & Safety

Parents trust us with their kids — we don't take that lightly. Here are the policies that keep every rental safe, fair, and fun.

Cleaning

Our bounce castle is cleaned and inspected before every rental. We wipe down surfaces with kid-safe cleaner, check for damage, and make sure everything is ready for your party.

Photo ID required at delivery

A valid government-issued photo ID must be presented at the time of delivery. The name on the ID must match the name on the rental agreement and the payment method on file. Splash & Bounce Party Rentals reserves the right to refuse delivery if a valid matching ID is not provided. No refund of deposit will be issued if delivery is refused for this reason.

Customer responsibility for equipment

The customer is fully responsible for all rented equipment from the time of delivery until pickup. This includes keeping the equipment safe, supervised, and used only as intended. The customer agrees to follow all safety rules, weight/age limits, and operating instructions provided at setup.

Damage, theft, and missing equipment fees

The customer agrees to pay for any damage, missing parts, theft, or excessive cleaning beyond normal use. Typical fees include (but are not limited to):
  • Excessive cleaning (mud, food, paint, gum, slime, pet waste): $75 – $250
  • Tears, punctures, or burns: repair cost up to full replacement value
  • Missing blower, stakes, extension cords, or accessories: replacement cost
  • Theft or non-return of equipment: full replacement value of the unit
  • Late return / late pickup caused by customer: $25 every 30 minutes

Non-refundable deposit

A $100 deposit is required to reserve your date and is non-refundable. If you need to reschedule, the deposit can be transferred to another available date within 6 months, subject to availability. The deposit is forfeited for no-shows, refused deliveries, or cancellations made less than 72 hours before the event.

Card on file authorization

By completing checkout, you authorize Splash & Bounce Party Rentals to keep your payment method on file and to charge that card for approved fees related to damage, loss, theft, excessive cleaning, or late return as outlined in the rental agreement. You will be notified of any post-event charges with an itemized explanation before the charge is processed whenever reasonably possible.

Safe use rules

  • Adult supervision required at all times
  • No shoes, food, drinks, gum, sharp objects, or pets inside the bounce castle
  • No flips, wrestling, rough play, or climbing on walls
  • Do not use during high winds, storms, or unsafe weather
  • Bounce castle must be set up on an approved flat surface
  • Rental may be rescheduled for unsafe weather

Weather and cancellation policy

Safety comes first. If the forecast calls for sustained winds over 15–20 mph, heavy rain, lightning, or other unsafe conditions, we will contact you to reschedule at no extra charge to another available date — your deposit transfers to that new date. Customer-initiated changes made 72+ hours before the event may reschedule once to another available date within 6 months, with the deposit transferring to the new booking. Cancellations within 72 hours forfeit the deposit. Once equipment has been delivered and set up, no refunds are issued for weather changes during the rental period.

Weather rescheduling

If the forecast looks unsafe (heavy rain, thunderstorms, or sustained winds), we'll work with you to reschedule.

Setup surfaces

We set up on grass, pavement, or indoors. Let us know on the form and we'll bring the right anchoring kit.

These policies are summaries of the full rental agreement provided at delivery. By completing checkout you agree to the rental agreement and authorize the card on file as described above.
